UV flexographic inks for sausage casings

Printec offers a broad range of printing inks especially suited for the varying materials in the printing of sausage casings. They are furthermore suitable for the printing on shrink bags and lid-films. In addition, overprint varnishes are available in matt, satin and gloss.

Two ink systems for UV flexographic printing are available: 30-UV Flexo K is a cationically polymerizing epoxy system, 40-UV Flexo R is a radically polymerizing acrylate system. Both systems are suitable for flexographic printing with a chamber doctor blade system. The inks are suitable for printing on polyamide sausage casings, but also for printing on shrink bags and lidding films.

In addition to 11 basic colors, overprint varnishes in matt and gloss, gold and silver colors as well as customer-specific colors are available. Cuttings, thinners and reactive accelerators are available as printing aids. A corona pretreatment of the material (42-44 mN/m) is recommended.
